A mini memoir provides a brief snapshot of who you are, using just a small number of stories from your life so far. It is usually written in the first person, and can be as specific or general as you like. Unlike a full memoir (which can be novel-length), a mini memoir is short – in most cases between 2000 and 5000 words in length. And unlike an autobiography, it does not attempt to record your whole life story. You can only ever write one autobiography, but in theory you could write countless, separate memoirs if you wanted to, each with a different theme.
Many people choose to focus their mini memoir on the theme of legacy, documenting their defining moments, key life lessons, and how they would like others to remember them. If you select our Premium Plus package and opt for a longer interview time, you could also choose to spotlight a special event or time-period from your life, and use this as the focus of your story.

Whatever the focus, a mini memoir gives the reader an insight into who you were in the past, and how you have become the person that you are today.
